BSR youth talk with BSR Board of Directors

On January 4th, 2019, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Binh Son Refining and Petrochemical Joint Stock Company (BSR) held a conference to review its work and youth movements in 2018, implement activities in 2019 and hold a talk with the company’s Board of Directors.
According to Secretary of BSR’s Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Nguyen Huy Du, the union has 4 grassroots unions and 7 subordinate branches with a total of 833 members. Under the direction and care of BSR Party Committee and BSR leaders, in 2018, the whole Executive Committee and Youth Union members always promoted their role of leading in production and business activities, in scientific and technical research and application, making important contributions to the proposal and application of ideas, initiatives, technical improvements in maintaining and operating Dung Quat oil refinery to be absolutely safe, stable and effective. BSR youth members are always active in self-learning, improving job handling skills, responsible for participating in social security activities and volunteering for community life. They have actively contributed to the successful transformation from limited liability company to equitized company.

Art performances by BSR Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union
At the event, Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union Central Committee granted certificates of merit to one collective and two individuals; and PetroVietnam Youth Union presented certificates of merit to six groups and 16 individuals for outstanding achievements in youth movements in 2018.
During the talk with BSR youth, Secretary of the PetroVietnam Group Vu Thi Thu Huong, BSR General Director and permanent vice secretary of BSR Party Committee Bui Minh Tien, chairman of BSR Trade Union Khuat Thi Le listened to questions and proposals of the youth. The topics focused on training, housing, wages for employees and the role of youth in cultural building at the company.
