Quang Binh welcomed two more Cuban medical experts

Two Cuban medical experts in the field of oncology and pediatrics have come to work at the Dong Hoi Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital in the central province of Quang Binh under the cooperation program between the two countries.

On July 10th, doctor Duong Thanh Binh, Director of Dong Hoi Vietnam-Cuba Friendship Hospital said that two Cuban medical experts who work at the hospital are tumour expert Jesus de los Santos Reno Cespedes and paediatrics expert Annet Ramos Plasencia. They will work at the hospital for two years, starting from July 8th, 2019.
The Cuban health experts working in the hospital are hoped to help people in Quang Binh province and neighbouring localities access advanced techniques in medical examination and treatment.
Up to now, there have been 6 Cuban medical experts in the fields of interventional cardiology, cranial neurosurgery, orthopedic trauma, pediatrics and oncology to Quang Binh, contributing to high technology in the treatment of critical diseases to patients, and at the same time, support the hospital to develop spearhead specialties, training the source of deep professional staff to meet the development needs in the new period./.
