My Nghiep is a famous traditional trade village in Ninh Thuan, involving over 700 families with 4,000 makers.
Skillful technique is required for weaving the brocade.

Brocade weaving requires different steps.

To produce colourful brocade which is imbued with Cham culture, women have to work hard, painstakingly and skillfully.
A woman meticulously deals with strands of thread.
A man tailors the brocade.
Apart from original brocade, the village produces towels, bags, wallets, shirts, coats, skirts, hats, tablecloths and bed sheets.
Patterns bearing the identity of the Cham ethnic group include the shape of the canarium, the dragon, Gods, Central Highlands elephants, and apricot flowers. The patterned symbol on the brocade carries the philosophy of life, customs, religion and artistic thinking of the Cham ethnic minority people, as its typical features cannot be compared anywhere.
