The task of making Quang Binh Provincial Planning for the period 2021 - 2030, with a vision to 2050 has been approved by Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung.

The plan must ensure conformity, consistency and synchronization with the objectives and orientations of the Socio-Economic Development Strategy in 2021 - 2030, the socio-economic development plan 2021 - 2025 of the whole country; the national strategy for green growth and sustainable development; and international treaties to which Vietnam is a signatory.
Planning content needs to be oriented for development, spatial arrangement and allocation of resources for socio-economic activities in line with the national and regional planning approved by state agencies, decision-making authority, aiming at the goal of sustainable development on all three pillars: economic, social and environmental; consistent with the context of international integration, commitments in multilateral and bilateral international treaties to which Vietnam is a member.
At the same time, the plan must ensure the coherence, synchronization, efficient exploitation and use of the existing infrastructure system among branches and inter-district regions and localities in the province; specify areas used for military, defense and security purposes at provincial and inter-district levels.
It will attach importance to promoting the development of disadvantaged areas, especially ethnic-inhabited and mountainous areas; ensure sustainable livelihoods, improve the material and spiritual life of the people; allocate, exploit and rationally and effectively use natural resources in association with the conservation of historical - cultural values and natural heritage for current and future generations.
The plan will apply modern technology, digitize, connect and share information systems and databases in the planning process; meet standards, regulations and techniques and meet development requirements, international integration and regional links./
