Quang Binh province to mark Uncle Ho’s visit day

The central province of Quang Binh will hold a ceremony to mark the 63rd year since Uncle Ho visited the province (June 16th), and inaugurate the President Ho Chi Minh and Quang Binh people Statue on June 13th. The ceremony will be broadcast live on national television.
At the press conference
This is among the activities to mark the great President’s 130th birthday (May 19th), and welcome the 17th provincial Party Congress and the 13th National Party Congress, the organizing committee said during a press conference held on June 10th.
According to the organizing committee, diverse activities will be held during the ceremony, including speeches, the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the President Ho Chi Minh Statue, and an art performance.
Delegates at the ceremony will also burn incense to commemorate Uncle Ho and fallen soldiers, and plant trees at the President Ho Chi Minh Statue campus.
Cao Van Dinh, Head of the provincial Party Committee Commission on Popularization and Education, stressed that the inauguration of the President Ho Chi Minh Statue is an important political event as it marks a special cultural work memorializing Uncle Ho’s visit to the province in 1957./.
