According to Mr. Khue, all the talented doctors have been mobilized to treat critical patients, as a majority of them are elderly and already have serious diseases.

Every change in the condition of the patients is closely monitored and addressed through the COVID-19 online support and operation management center located at the Ministry of Health's Department of Medical Examination and Treatment. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Luong Ngoc Khue suggested that medical examination and treatment facilities closely monitor the situation of the COVID-19 epidemic to detect all suspected cases and cases coming from areas where known patients were detected, to promptly deal with the situation.

Hospitals have been requested to strictly comply with the direction of the National Steering Committee on COVID-19 Prevention and Control, and Department of Medical Examination and Treatment; and drastically implement measures to prevent and control COVID-19 infection in medical examination and treatment facilities, especially for high risk persons.

As of the morning of August 4, 21 patients were confirmed to have tested negative 1-2 times for the virus SARS-CoV-2. There are still 251 patients positive for the virus. Six fatalities were reported./.
