According to the department, in January 2019, Taiwan (China) adjusted its open-door policy to accept foreign workers working in the agricultural sector in the dairy industry and agriculture, farming, and harvesting industry.

Recently, Taiwan (China) continued to announce the expansion of industries receiving foreign workers, including Vietnamese workers to work in these above 7 agricultural areas.

To prepare to supply workers to this market, the Overseas Labour Management Department requires enterprises to negotiate with partners on labor supply contract conditions in terms of travel tickets, accommodation, salary, insurance, overtime payment, sick leave, vacation and contract extension.

There are currently diverse kinds of jobs in the agricultural sector in Taiwan (China), with working conditions and environment much different from those of industrial and service workers./.
