For the lunar New Year (Tet) of 2025, Binh Duong will allocate funds to provide 1,000 train tickets for workers traveling to the central and northern provinces to celebrate Tet. Train departures are scheduled for January 23, 24 and 25, 2025 (corresponding to the 24th, 25th, and 26th days of the December lunar calendar), according to the Binh Duong Provincial Federation of Labor.

Additionally, to help workers in the southern provinces returning home for Tet, the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor will support workers in Binh Duong with 450 train tickets and 80 flight tickets to Vinh Airport (Nghe An Province) and Noi Bai Airport (Hanoi).

The selection criteria for the "Union Flight - Spring 2025" program will align with those for the spring train tickets. Priority will be given to those who have not returned home for Tet for at least three years.

Furthermore, the program "Reunion Tet - Spring of Gratitude to the Party" will include specific activities such as the launch of the "Union Tet Market 2025" and the organization of train and bus services to bring workers home for Tet.

At the provincial level, trade unions in Binh Duong will also visit and present gifts to union members and workers, particularly those in difficult circumstances, with low incomes, suffering from critical illnesses, occupational diseases, work-related injuries, or those who are unemployed or underemployed. The unions will coordinate with the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Committee, and relevant departments to visit, extend New Year greetings, and provide gifts to union members and workers. They will also encourage businesses to join hands in ensuring a warm Tet for workers.

Many businesses in Binh Duong are also stepping up to support and arrange transportation for workers during Tet. Cultural and recreational activities for union members and workers during the holiday are being thoughtfully planned and organized./.
