Contest on election law launched

The contest aims to popularize to employees the election of deputies to the 15th National Assembly (NA), the 10^th Ho Chi Minh City People's Council and People's Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. Accordingly, the contest will include three phases.

The first one is to learn about the law on the election of deputies to the 15^th NA, the 10^th Ho Chi Minh City People’s Council and People’s Councils at all levels for the 2021-2026 term. The first phase will take place over three weeks, lasting from March 29 to April 17. Candidates will answer multiple choice questions of the online contest through the link: congdoanthanhphohochiminh.congdoanvietnam.org.

The second phase will take place from April 18 to May 2. Candidates can send their entries in the form of short dramas, reportage, or short films, which show the methods and ways of election communications.

The third phase is a photo contest, taking place from May 15 to 27. Candidates can send their photos to email: nvhldcongdoanhcm@gmail.com

According to Mr. Ho Xuan Lam, Vice Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Labour Confederation, the contest aims to communicate and guide workers to better understand their citizenship, thereby selecting talented and virtuous people to stand for the NA and People's Councils at all levels. To help the employees grasp the information about the election, the City Labour Confederation sent a document on election communications to the trade union members and employees of 20,000 grassroots trade unions.

According to the Ho Chi Minh City Labour Federation, besides the awards for excellent individuals, the organizers also present awards to collectives with a large number of participants and having many winners. The total prize value is more than 168 million dong./.
