Drastic in direction and implementation
After the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour issued the program and instructions for implementation, most of the Confederations of Labor of provinces and cities, central sector trade unions, and Corporation Trade Unions directly under the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour immediately implemented plans at their level and registered the number of participating initiatives with many solutions such as: determining program participation as the top task in evaluating the results of cluster and block emulation activities; Include program content in annual work task targets to evaluate emulation; Associate the content of program implementation with the organization of emulation movements to improve labor productivity, product quality, and work efficiency in localities, units, and businesses, focusing on emulation movements. "Good workers, creative workers" and the movement "Innovation, creativity, efficiency in the activities of trade unions" and emulation movements of provinces, cities and industries.

Some units have creative ways such as: Hai Phong Confederation of Labor associated with the Technical Creativity Contest, providing financial support for initiative authors to register to participate. Thanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation established a Steering Committee to implement the program, associated with the province's special emulation movement, evaluating results in weekly briefings. Many units have succeeded with solutions to direct and take drastic and specific actions, closely follow daily developments, and promptly remove bottlenecks such as the Thai Nguyen Provincial Confederation of Labour, the Long An Provincial Confederation of Labor, the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labor, the Trade Union of Vietnam Industry and Trade Ministry, and the Trade Union of Vietnam National Textile and Garment Group.
Achieving goal of 1 million initiatives, 332 days ahead of schedule
Member of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Nguyen Dinh Khang said that the program is directed firmly and synchronously from the central to the branches, localities and grassroots with the motto: Practical content, criteria specific, clear manner; easy to implement, easy to monitor. Especially digital technology has been applied to deploy faster and spread more widely to help union members and workers conveniently access and participate, thus achieving comprehensive and outstanding results, achieving the goal of 1 million initiatives, 332 days ahead of schedule.
By the end of the program (24:00 August 31, 2023), more than 2.4 million initiatives were submitted, reaching 240% of the set goal. 59/82 units that have completed the assigned planned targets, of which 14 units have achieved over 200% of the target, said the Chairman of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor.

In addition, the content of participating initiatives was also very diverse in all fields and was evaluated for effectiveness, and applied in practice. Many initiatives have high beneficial value, demonstrating the efforts and constant concern of the authors, contributing to improving the operational efficiency of agencies, units and businesses.
The initiatives have demonstrated the creativity and intelligence of Vietnamese workers in promptly adapting to living and working conditions in the context of complex epidemics and in the new normal period, making an important contribution to stabilizing and restoring production and business activities of enterprises and implementing the political tasks of agencies and units. According to statistics from the online software system, the total benefit value of the initiative is estimated at more than 33,000 billion VND.
In general, officials, union members, and workers across the country enthusiastically responded to and participated in the program. The force of officials, civil servants, and public employees of administrative agencies has the conditions to research and register initiatives during their working time, but for workers in enterprises, due to working conditions, most of them have to sign up for initiatives outside of business hours and holidays. Many officials, union members, and workers have temporarily put aside their personal joys and taken advantage of the opportunity to guide, synthesize, and update initiatives during holidays such as the April 30 and May 1 holidays. The number of initiatives is still increasing steadily on the system, with an average of about 3,400 initiatives/day; The average number of initiatives updated during the 2-day weekend reached nearly 6,000 initiatives/day.
To recognize the efforts of organizations and individuals, at the typical honoring ceremony "Initiatives to overcome difficulties, be creative, and overcome the pandemic", the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor praised 33 collectives, 46 authors and groups of authors in program implementation./.
Among more than 2 million approved valid initiatives, some typical initiatives with high beneficial value include:
- Author group: Nguyen Dac Luan and colleagues, Vung Tau Gas Processing Company, Vietnam Petroleum Trade Union, have the initiative: Optimize V-101A bypass gas source when receiving NCS2 gas source to increase production efficiency GPP Dinh Co's output with a profit value of 292 billion VND.
- The author group from Flight Crew 919, Trade Union of Vietnam Airlines Corporation, have the initiative: "Saving flight fuel" making a profit of 263 billion VND.
- Author group: Tran Thi Thuy Lien and colleagues, Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development Trade Union, Vietnam Banking Trade Union have the initiative: "Increasing capital resources to ensure liquidity safety at low costs” makes a profit of 239 billion VND.
- Author group: Ho Xuan Tu and colleagues of the Vietnam Bank for Investment and Development Trade Union and Vietnam Banking Union have the initiative "Increasing charter capital from accumulated profits over the years to improve capacity BIDV's finances" making a profit of 205 billion VND.
- Author Nguyen Huy Hoang, Deputy Head of Production Engineering Department, Vietnam Samsung Electronics Company, Bac Ninh Provincial Federation of Labor, has the initiative: "Improving to reduce Resolution ở ACT Line error rate” making a profit of 104 billion VND .
- Author group Nguyen Van Minh, chief engineer and colleague of Vietnam Canon Company, Hanoi City Federation of Labour have the initiative: improving and optimizing the design of accessory boxes for printer products, making profit value of 104 billion VND./.
