This activity is within the framework of the 2nd Vietnam - Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program.
During the two days, the military medical staff of the two countries will examine, treat and provide free medicines for about 1,500 people in the border area of the district.
The military medical staff of the two countries will then continue to carry out joint medical examination and treatment activities and provide free medicines for people in the border area of Moc Chau district, Son La province, Vietnam.
At Sop Bao District Medical Center, people were examined by experts in internal medicine, surgery, ophthalmology, dentmaxillofacial, ENT, obstetrics and pediatrics.
In particular, some new and modern equipment and machines such as biochemical testing machines, urine testing machines, electrocardiogram machines, ultrasound machines and X-ray machines were also available to serve the local people.
In addition, officers and staff from the Long Sap Border Guard Station of Son La Provincial Border Guard, Vietnam also provided support in some areas, thanks to which, the activities of medical examination, treatment and free medicine provision take place smoothly.
The 2nd Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program will be held at the end of October in Moc Chau district of Son La province and Sop Bao district of Houaphanh province.
The 1st Vietnam-Laos Border Defense Friendship Exchange Program in December 2021, in Huong Hoa district (Quang Tri province) and Sepon district (Savannakhet province) took place successfully, leaving deep impressions of the friendship and solidarity between the two countries' armies and people./.
