In a document signed by Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People’s Committee Chu Xuan Dung and issued late on June 21, hair salons, and indoor catering venues have been permitted to resume operations, nearly a month after receiving closure orders.
Capacity is capped at 50% and no more than 20 customers can be in a venue at any time, while venues are asked to set up barriers between tables and ensure a safe distance between customers. They must also close by 9pm.
The owners of all venues must require customers to submit electronic health declarations during their time on the premises.
Wine bars, pubs, and draught beer venues are only allowed to sell orders for delivery.
On the first day of reopening, many customers visit local hair salons from the early morning. Many hair salons welcome crowds of customers. Both hairdressers and customers are forced to comply with relevant COVID-19 prevention guidelines. Customers have to wear face masks while having their hair cut./.
