HCM City delegation offers flowers at President Ho Chi Minh’s monument in Argentina

On March 21, a delegation led by Deputy Secretary of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee Nguyen Ho Hai offered flowers at the monument of President Ho Chi Minh in Buenos Aires, the capital of Argentina.

The incense offering ceremony was attended by Vietnamese Ambassador to Argentina Duong Quoc Thanh; Mr. Phan Nguyen Nhu Khue, Member of the Standing Board of the City Party Committee and Head of the Commission of Popularization and Education, and other delegates.
In a solemn atmosphere, the delegation respectfully offered flowers at the monument of President Ho Chi Minh, commemorating his merits in the cause of national liberation and the international revolutionary movement.
President Ho Chi Minh’s monument was inaugurated on August 30, 2012, located at the park named Socialist Republic of Vietnam, in Buenos Aires. This is a meaningful work symbolizing the friendship between the two countries.
The Ho Chi Minh City delegation visit took place from March 18 to 28, in the context of Vietnam and Argentina looking towards the 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations.
The visit is expected to open up opportunities for cooperation and mutual understanding between the two localities in many fields, from party building to economic, cultural and tourism development./.
