According to the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports, building the Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space
is one of the key tasks in the Strategy for the Development of the Cultural Sector of HCMC in the period of 2020-2035; in which, the work of statistics, collection of documents, original artifacts and image artifacts related to President Ho Chi Minh is also focused to build a database about President Ho Chi Minh.
Up to now, the units have recorded and made profiles of more than 30,900 documents and artifacts; and digitized the data for convenient management; preserved 29 documentary films; 2,906 models of Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space at the headquarters of agencies, units, cultural and sports institutions, historical sites, cultures, museums, traditional houses, libraries, religious establishments, beliefs, schools, businesses, business establishments, markets, public spaces, hostels, and apartment buildings.
In addition, the Department of Culture and Sports has coordinated with the Union of Literature and Arts Associations, specialized associations, and units to compose, collect, and publish songs about President Ho Chi Minh, children with Uncle Ho; making audio and video recordings of literary and artistic works praising President Ho Chi Minh; and photo exhibitions andbook introductions about Uncle Ho.
On this occasion, the HCMC Department of Culture and Sports presented logos to collectives and individuals having outstanding typical achievements and many contributions in implementing the construction of the Ho Chi Minh City Cultural Space in the field of culture and sports./.
