Kien Giang plants 1,000 yellow apricot trees in Rach Gia City

The Rach Gia City Farmers Association in the Mekong Delta province of Kien Giang in March launched the Tet tree-planting festival in eternal gratitude of Uncle Ho in Phi Thong commune.
At the event, delegates and members of the City Farmers Association planted 1,000 apricot trees along Tran Van Luan Street, in Ta Keo Vam and Ta Keo Ngon hamlets, Phi Thong commune.

The move aims to support the effective implementation of the Prime Minister’s project of planting 1 billion trees in the 2021-2025 period.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the City Farmers Association Nguyen Van Dung called on all city officials, members and farmers to enthusiastically participate in planting trees to create a clean and green landscape; actively plant flowers on road banks, contributing to realizing the national target program on building new-style rural areas./.
