District 5 Labor Confederation commends examples of good implementation of Directive 05
Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style over the years has been seriously implemented by the District Confederation of Labour, with many effective solutions and ways of doing things, bringing positive results. The grass-roots trade unions are paying more and more attention to political and ideological education, regularly reminding trade unionists and employees about their manners, lifestyle, and relationship with their colleagues, helping them raise their awareness of training, preserving and cultivating morality and lifestyle, especially promoting the spirit of trade union organizations, thus creating an exciting emulation movement in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style.
Diverse good works and effective models have been implemented by collectives and individuals by each union official, employee, and worker in practical daily actions, thereby contributing to improving work efficiency at agencies, units and enterprises, raising ethical standards and lifestyles of each trade union officer, employee and worker. Over the past 5 years, 561 projects and models of collectives and individuals have been carried out.
In addition, the Labour Confederation of District 5 also focused on taking care of more than 1,500 trade union members, officials, and employees in difficult circumstances suffering from incurable diseases or serious diseases, with a total amount of more than VND4 billion.
Over the past 5 years, 263 collectives and 332 typical individuals have been commended in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style; and 316 individual examples of “Good people – Good deeds” have been honored.
On this occasion, 12 individuals were honored to receive the Medal "For the cause of building Vietnam Trade Union"; while the Ho Chi Minh City Confederation of Labour awarded certificates of merit to 2 teams; District 5 Confederation of Labour awarded certificates of merit and commended 128 examples of good performance in studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style, and commended the examples "Good people - Good deeds" in 2021./.
