This event aimed to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Treaty on the Basic Principles of Friendly Relations and the 12th anniversary of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The exhibition was co-organized by the Ho Chi Minh Museum of Vietnam and the V.I. Lenin Memorial Complex in Ulyanovsk.

Featuring 58 posters, the exhibition aims to introduce the Russian public to images of President Ho Chi Minh through the art of graphic design, created by Vietnamese artists after his death. The posters, with their rich graphic style and concise textual language, depict President Ho Chi Minh as a great but extremely simple and approachable leader. These posters convey a strong message about his shining qualities and serve as a major inspiration for generations of Vietnamese people in their efforts to build, protect, and develop the country.

In his welcome speech at the opening ceremony, Ulyanovsk provincial Governor Russkich expressed confidence that both young people and older generations in Ulyanovsk would be eager to visit the exhibition to learn about the history, culture and traditions of beautiful Vietnam. Governor Russkich affirmed that this is an important event following the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to Vietnam, contributing to multifaceted cooperation, especially in the cultural field, as agreed during the Russian President's visit to Vietnam.

For his part, Ho Chi Minh Museum Director Vu Manh Ha expressed joy and emotion as the exhibition debuted in Russia, right in the house where leader V.I. Lenin spent his childhood. He emphasized that Russia has had an immensely significant influence on the revolutionary activities of President Ho Chi Minh. During the event, the Ho Chi Minh Museum and the Lenin Memorial Complex signed a Memorandum of Understanding on scientific and cultural cooperation./.
