Son La inaugurates "Ho Chi Minh Learning Space" model

This learning space, located within the school’s grounds and spanning nearly 300 square meters, includes a heritage area, a display area and a reading relaxation space. The display and heritage areas showcase books introducing President Ho Chi Minh’s life and career, along with a special library of Ho Chi Minh's works.

To create the learning space, the school reclaimed 20 square meters of pond land. The district Youth Union, along with the school’s staff and teachers, contributed 30 cubic meters of stones for the embankment and over 200 workdays for material transportation, constructing embankments, landscaping, and building the reading house. The district Federation of Labor provided two sedge mats and various display items, while the District Learning Promotion Association donated over 300 books. The total value of contributions exceeded VND40 million.

The model will serve as a venue for Party cell meetings, thematic activities, new Party member inductions, and youth and team enrollments. Additionally, the school plans to incorporate after-school activities, offering students a playground and relaxation area. This model plays a role in preserving and promoting Vietnam's cultural values, spreading examples of learning and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style through concrete and meaningful actions.

On this occasion, the Yen Chau District Party Committee presented gifts to the school; the Yen Chau District Federation of Labor awarded certificates of merit to four individuals for outstanding contributions to the model’s establishment, and the Yen Chau District Youth Union presented a certificate to the Phieng Khoai Commune Youth Union’s volunteer team and gave certificates of merit to five groups and individuals for their charitable efforts in building the model./.
