In the last days of the year, nearly 150 warm coats and vibrant community playgrounds were gifts that union members and youth of Tu Mo Rong district brought to students of Ngoc Lay Commune Primary and Secondary Boarding School for Ethnic Minorities.

Ngoc Lay is a remote commune in which children still face many difficulties and deprivations. These gifts not only have material value, but also encourage children’s spirits, especially during the end of the year and the coming Lunar New Year (Tet).
Mr. A Trung, Secretary of the Tu Mo Rong District Youth Union, said that it has mobilized and gathered union members and young people to participate in sharing activities to help children in difficult circumstances.
Through Youth Union work and youth movements, the Tu Mo Rong district Youth Union promoted the youth’s spirit of volunteering for the community. Through the joint efforts and contributions of union members and young people, many meaningful works have been carried out, contributing to ensuring social security and building a developed district.
Typically, in 2023, the youth of the district have had many outstanding milestones such as collaborating with generous organizations and individuals to donate 4 charity houses to households in difficult circumstances in communes of Dak Sao, Dak Na, Dak To Kan and Ngoc Lay, with a total budget of 320 million VND.
The district mobilized 410 million VND to give gifts to support families in difficulty and planted over 130,000 new trees of all kinds with the participation of 5,679 union members and young people.
From practical movements and activities suitable to local conditions, Tu Mo Rong Youth Union has gradually built a positive training environment for union members and youth, creating opportunities for the young generation to devote and spread studying and following Uncle Ho in life and working for the community and society.
In studying and following Uncle Ho, the Tu Mo Rong Youth Union focuses on promoting the role of youth party members at the grassroots. Specifically, 193 party members at 22 grassroots organizations in the area wrote commitments to study and follow Ho Chi Minh’s ideology, morality, and style; in which, each party member is determined to raise the awareness of striving and training to become a shining example and a leader at the grassroots.
Mr. A Trung said that the district Youth Union determined studying and following Uncle Ho is a key task in the annual program and plan, associated with the implementation of local political tasks. In the coming time, the Youth Union will continue to promote popularization, education, and raise awareness among union members and youth./.
