This information was revealed by Mr. Juhas Csongor, General Director of Prohuman Company (Hungary), during a meeting with representatives of leaders of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs on June 7.
According to Mr. Juhas Csongor, that priority is because Vietnamese workers are hard-working, gentle and disciplined.
Hungary is currently in a period of population aging and there is a high demand for skilled foreign workers, especially in the agricultural and industrial sectors. Mr. Juhas Csongor expects the number of Vietnamese workers coming to Hungary to work in 2022 will double the target of 2,000 workers in 2020.
Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister of Labour, War Invalids and Social Affairs Nguyen Ba Hoan said that the Vietnamese Government cares about and devotes many priority policies to support Vietnamese people to work abroad under contracts, including Hungary.
Currently, there are 16 Vietnamese enterprises licensed to send Vietnamese labourers to work in Hungary. The total number of registered employees is over 2,500 people, of which businesses have organized to send more than 1,080 people to work in Hungary in the fields of agriculture, food processing and construction. Most Vietnamese labourers working in Hungary have good income and are guaranteed social welfare regimes in this country.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan said that the two countries still have a lot of potential in cooperation in labour. In order to increase the number of Vietnamese people going to work in Hungary, Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan asked the Department of Overseas Labour Management to direct and guide licensed enterprises to organize the sending of Vietnamese workers to work in Hungary.
Deputy Minister Nguyen Ba Hoan hoped that on the basis of good diplomacy between Vietnam and Hungary, as well as Hungary's need to receive foreign workers, in the coming time, the two sides would further promote cooperation in labour./.
