According to the official dispatch, currently, the COVID-19 pandemic is continuing to undergo complicated and unpredictable development, especially in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern localities, severely affecting not only Vietnamese citizens, but also foreigners living and working in Vietnam.
Following the direction of the Party and State, authorities at all levels have made every effort to take care of the health and life of the people and foreigners in the spirit of "leaving no one behind."
To continue giving support to foreigners, the Prime Minister asked provinces and cities to provide and disseminate publicly the contact information of authorities receiving foreigners’ information and requests around the clock on the mass media and to foreign associations and organizations in Vietnam; and coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies to address possible problems.
Provinces and cities were also requested to guide the registration and organization of free COVID-19 vaccination for foreigners as for Vietnamese citizens, ensuring equal access, regardless of nationality, form of residence, or employment./.
