At the 47th WorldSkills Competition held in France, the Vietnamese team won one Bronze Medal and three Certificates of Excellence.

According to the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, after four days of competition, the closing ceremony of the 47th WorldSkills Competition took place on the evening of September 15 at Groupama Stadium in Lyon, France. In the final results, Vietnam secured one Bronze Medal and three Certificates of Excellence.
This marks the third consecutive time that Vietnam has won a medal at the WorldSkills Competition. Pham Thanh Dat, a student from Hanoi University of Industry, earned the Bronze Medal in the CNC Milling category at the 47th WorldSkills Competition in France.
Additionally, Vietnam achieved three Certificates of Excellence, awarded to Ho Chi Nguyen (Information Network Cabling), Nguyen Khoa Hai Minh (Mechanical Engineering CAD) and Cu Duc Hieu (CNC Turning). The Best of Nation award for Vietnam went to Ho Chi Nguyen in Information Network Cabling.
The 47th WorldSkills Competition in France attracted participants from 26 countries and territories, including top competitors from countries like China, the Republic of Korea and Brazil. Experts noted that the CNC Milling competition featured increasingly challenging tasks compared to previous competitions.
In 2019, at the 45th WorldSkills Competition held in Kazan, Russia, Vietnam won a Silver Medal for the first time, achieving the country's best result after participating in seven events. Then in 2022, Vietnam secured two Silver Medals at the WorldSkills Competition, with competitors Nguyen Thanh Tung (CNC Milling) and Nguyen Xuan Thai (CNC Turning)./.
