Vietnamese army delegation participating in the Army Games commemorates Uncle Ho in Moscow

On August 10, the Vietnam People's Army delegation participated in the 2022 International Military Games (Army Games) led by Colonel Ta Quang Thao, Deputy Director of the Military Training Department from the Ministry of National Defence, went to offer flowers at the Monument of President Ho Chi Minh in Moscow, Russia.

In a dignified atmosphere, Colonel Ta Quang Thao and his comrades, who are officials and officers of functional agencies of the Ministry of National Defense, Vietnam's Defense Attaché Agency in Russia, and representatives of Vietnamese teams to the Army Games 2022, respectfully offered Uncle Ho fresh flowers and touching lyrics, remembrance of his great merits for the glorious revolutionary cause of the nation.

The Vietnam People's Army delegation vowed to continue to study and follow Uncle Ho's thought, morality and style; and promised him to continue promoting the good qualities of "Uncle Ho's soldiers” in overcoming difficult conditions in competing with the spirit of friendship, setting the highest achievements, contributing to the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, at the same time promoting the image of the country and Vietnamese people actively integrating and developing with international friends.

The delegation members also expressed their high determination to ensure health and safety in all aspects and successfully complete assigned tasks.

The Army Games 2022 is scheduled to be held from August 13 to 27, with the participation of more than 270 teams from nearly 40 countries. The events will take place in the territories of 12 countries./.
