At the signing ceremony of the cooperation deal
Three breakthroughs were mentioned in the documents of the 13th National Party Congress, which included improving the institutional development of the Government. Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh has continued to affirm that one of the Government's key tasks is to build the mechanisms, policies and conditions for promoting the human and cultural value of Vietnam. Those will become the source and important motivation in socio - economic development, with effective solutions to improving the quality of health, education, and talent, and attaching importance to developing high quality human resources, attracting and using talent.
Therefore, connecting the networks of experts and businessmen is increasingly necessary for the development of higher education and training quality human resources. To realize that, VKBIA has signed a comprehensive memorandum of cooperation with Songgok University to train human resources to be highly skilled and knowledgeable in Korean language in order to respond to the need of human resources at Korean’s FDIs and supply chains in Vietnam.
Simultaneously, VKBIA and Songgok University will also develop the system and education program to train Korean lecturers for Vietnam, which will be standardized to the Korean Education System.
Dr. Tran Hai Linh, member of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee and VKBIA Chairman, stressed that the policy of the Government to be “the Government of action and integrity that nurtures development and better serves the people” fits the socialist market economy in Vietnam.
To achieve the objectives above, the economy must strongly unleash production power, mobilize and rationally and efficiently use social resources, combine domestic and foreign resources, creating a driving force for the country's economic development and successful integration to the World’s economy. Vietnam needs to develop qualified human resources, meeting the needs of society, while taking advantage of breakthroughs in the 4.0 revolution to develop and promote the key sciences, technology, commerce and major services. In that, it is necessary to consider the training and the developing of high-quality human resources as one of the most important breakthroughs. The certain achievements in development of high-quality human resources in Korea over the past years is a good model for Vietnam to link and accompany.
Prof. Wang Duk Yang, Rector of Songgok University, said he hoped that the cooperation between VKBIA and SONGGOK would bring practical results for development between the parties. At the same time, this collaboration will contribute to the development of quality human resources in the coming time for Vietnam and the Republic of Korea./.
