India considers funding tower improvement in Ninh Thuan

India’s Ambassador to Vietnam Parvathaneni Harish announced that the Indian Government is considering providing seven non-refundable projects to Ninh Thuan province, including two projects improving infrastructure of Poklong Garai and Hoa Lai towers.

At the recent reception, Chairman of Ninh Thuan provincial People’s Committee Luu Xuan Vinh expressed his pleasure with the good relationship between Vietnam and India, on the basis of 40 years of established diplomatic relations and ten years of implementing the strategic partnership in different fields.

Visiting the province for the second time during his term of office, Ambassador Parathaneni Harish said that Ninh Thuan province had a special position in the bilateral relationship, as there are many similarities in culture, religion, and between the Cham and Indian languages.

The Ambassador was pleased to announce that the Indian Government is considering providing seven non-refundable projects to the province, including two projects improving infrastructure of Poklong Garai and Hoa Lai towers.

He wished to have close cooperation between the India Embassy in Vietnam and Ninh Thuan provincial authorities in order to complete procedures for approving, receiving and deploying projects, making practical contribution to support local people./.
