Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 to introduce capital’s cuisines

Hanoi City People’s Committee has just issued a plan to organize Hanoi Tourism Gift Festival 2024 to mark the 70th anniversary of the capital’s liberation (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and respond to the National Tourism Year - Dien Bien in 2024.

The event will take place from August 23 to 25 to promote the capital’s image as an attractive and safe tourist destination.
The festival will run with the theme “Hanoi – Come to Love” and will kick off at the pedestrian zone in front of Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park on Tran Nhan Tong street, Hai Ba Trung district.
Local craft villages and businesses will display an array of gift products across 70 booths at the event, introducing gift products from typical craft villages in Hanoi such as Phu Vinh rattan and bamboo village, Thach Xa bamboo dragonfly village, and Bat Trang pottery village.
Diverse activities such as a visual art exhibition marking use of 3D mapping technology, an interactive light performance space, a photo exhibition on Hanoi’s beauty, handicraft workshops and an event to introduce capital’s unique cuisine, will be held. Other activities will include art performances, flash mobs, and hip-hop dancing./.
