Korean Day in Quang Nam province

Korean Day in Quang Nam province will take place on December 15th and 16th, to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Vietnam - the Republic of Korea (RoK) diplomatic ties (December 22nd) and the ASEAN - RoK Cultural Exchange Year 2017.

The event will be held in Nui Thanh district and Tam Ky city with diverse activities such as photo exhibitions on the land and people of the RoK and Quang Nam province; and a signing ceremony of a Memorandum of Understanding on culture between representatives of Quang Nam provincial People’s Committee and Korean Cultural Centre in Vietnam.
There will also be meetings with Korean investors in 2017, seminar on building Tam Ky intelligent urban area, Congress of Vietnam – RoK Friendship Association in Quang Nam province (tenure 2017-2020), meeting between leaders of DongDuck Womens University (DWU) and leaders and students from Nguyen Binh Khiem gifted school to share about possibilities of cooperation and introduce study opportunities in DWU for students in Quang Nam province.
The Korean film week will take place from December 11th to 17th, at Quang Nam provincial Cultural Centre.
The Korean Day will contribute to strengthening the mutual understanding and promoting friendship and cooperation between Quang Nam and Korean localities in the fields of diplomacy, culture, economy, tourism and education./.
