Movies on Dien Bien Phu campaign to be screened

Dien Bien Phu provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will organize national film week on the historical Dien Bien Phu campaign to mark the 65th anniversary of the campaign.

The event will take place from April 24th to May 20th. The opening ceremony will be held at Dien Bien Phu cinema on April 24th.
Many major historical documentaries such as “Old soldiers’ stories” and “Living together with history” will be screened during the event.
The event will not only help the audience nationwide have a clearer and fuller view of the campaign, but also reaffirm the clear leadership role of the Communist Party of Vietnam, President Ho Chi Minh, and the spirit of national unity and the strength of the Vietnam People's Army - the decisive factor for all victories of the Vietnamese revolution.
Along with the opening ceremony, mobile cinema teams will also organize film screenings for ethnic minorities in remote areas of the province./.
