The Border Guard High Command on September 6th opened a contest for political lecturers and speakers on studying and following President Ho Chi Minh’s style in 2017.

The contest attracted the participation of 177 contestants from 59 units under the army force.
In his opening speech, Major General Do Danh Vuong, Political Commissar of Border Guard, emphasized this is a practical activities to intensify popularization and dissemination of Resolution of the 12th National Party Congress, Resolution of the 10th Military Party Congress, Resolution of the 14th Border Guard Party Congress and resolutions and directives of the Party Central Committee (PCC), the Politburo, Central Military Commission, and Ministry of National Defence from 2016 to now; especially Resolution of the 4th PCC meeting (term XII).
The contest aims to create positive varieties in both acknowledgement and responsibility of Party Committees, political commissars, political organs and speakers in educating politics, studying and following the ideology, morality and style of President Ho Chi Minh.
Major General Vuong also asked the organizers and jury to work with the highest responsibility to ensure the strict and objective organization of the contest and properly evaluate the result of each contestant./.
