A delegation from the Hanoi city Young Pioneers’ Association and Hanoi city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union led by Mr Nguyen Van Thang visited and presented gifts to teenagers in Dien Bien province from September 23rd-26th.

This was a practical activity of the capital youth to mark the 60th anniversary of the Vietnam Youth Federation (October 15th) and promote solidarity between teenagers in the capital and those in mountainous areas in general, and in Dien Bien in particular.
The delegation presented two sets of drums, 2,000 books, study aids, cakes and candies worth of VND40 million to Yen Can primary school in Sam Mun commune, Dien Bien district, and Thanh Minh commune secondary school in Dien Bien Phu city.
It also provided ten scholarships worth VND500,000 for each to outstanding students at Yen Cang primary school.
On this occasion, the Hanoi city Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union supported the construction at Hat Lau school in Pu Xi commune, Tuan Giao district; presented 12,000 books, sets of drums and study aids, worth VND300 million, to four schools in Dien Bien province. /.
