The 3-day event attracted urban development experts from Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture, National University of Civil Engineering, and Housing and Urban Development Corporation (HUD).
Presentations of Professor Yu Jai Deuk - Representative of ILLO Architecture Company & Professor of Satellite Cities Faculty, Hongik University and Mr. Kim Young Hoon - Senior Vice President of Urban & Landscape Design Studio of Heerim have shared valuable knowledge and experiences of the Republic of Korea in transportation planning, housing planning, open space planning, and housing planning.

A wide range of innovative technologies that have been applied in Korean urban development were also introduced with a hope to contribute to the technical advancement for Vietnam’s urban development.
According to Ms. Kim Mi Hye, Deputy Director of KOTRA Hanoi, the seminar would help improve the expertise of technology experts among Vietnam enterprises, as well as a good chance to further strengthen and expand relations between the two countries.
During recent years, the Republic of Korea’s Government has been promoting the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activities. In which, KOTRA CSR Global is a social contribution project that has been continuously implemented, contributing to building a mutually supportive business environment through the cooperation of Korean businesses and other countries over the world.

Since 2011, it has been accompanying with the Ministry of Planning and Investment and the Embassy of the Republic of Korea to organize the Annual CSR Awards ceremony to honor RoK’s enterprises that have had the best social responsibility./.
