Over 100 delegates who are Party members of the Office of the Bac Ninh provincial People’s Committee and secretaries and deputy secretaries from 50 Party Committees under the Party Committee of the provincial Agencies and Businesses Bloc joined in the 8th Congress of the Party Committee of the provincial People’s Committee Office, term 2020-2025, on February 10th-11th.

During the congress, delegates assessed the implementation of the 7th Party Congress resolution and discussed solutions for the 2020-2025 period.
With 7 Party cells and 106 Party members, over the past 5 years, the Party Committee has led officers and labourers to obey the Party guidelines and State policies and laws; and realize well the task of serving the province’s leadership.
Addressing the congress, Do Dinh Huu, Secretary of the provincial Agencies and Businesses Bloc Party Committee, suggested the Party Committee, in the new term, to focus on increasing Party organizations’ leadership and the quality of Party members, providing sufficient political education, and enhancing solidarity.
He also asked for an increase in administrative reform; the development of e-government; and the prompt dissemination of the Party guidelines, State policies and laws, and the provincial People’s Committee’s direction.
With high rate of votes in favour, the congress elected a new Executive Board which included 9 members. Trinh Huu Hung, Secretary of the Office Party Committee term VII, was re-elected Secretary for the new term./.
