On August 26, the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper coordinated with the National Traffic Safety Committee to organize the launching ceremony of the contest "Joining hands for traffic safety" on the social network VCNet.

The contest is scheduled to run from 10:00 on September 7, 2020, to 9:00 a.m. on December 28, 2020.
Participants will be people who have a VCNet account and a new VCNet account registrant. Students are especially encouraged.

The event will aim at strengthening the dissemination of laws on traffic order and safety; improving knowledge and awareness of observing the law on traffic safety and order of all people, especially the young generation; contributing to building a behavioral culture when participating in traffic, equipping people in traffic with skills to operate safe vehicles; creating conditions for many classes of people to comment and share solutions to enhance traffic order and safety, contribute to minimizing traffic accidents and traffic jams; and praising and replicating examples and good deeds in ensuring traffic order and safety.

On this occasion, an online exchange took place at the Headquarters of the Communist Party of Vietnam Online Newspaper. It drew Comrade Le Manh Hung, Deputy Head of the PCC Commission of Popularization and Education; Comrade Bui Sy Loi, Deputy Head of National Assembly’s Committee for Social Affairs; Comrade Khuat Viet Hung, Vice Chairman of the National Traffic Safety Committee; Comrade Dang Van Chung, Deputy Head of Traffic Safety Department, Directorate for Roads of Vietnam; and Colonel Nguyen Quang Nhat, Head of Dissemination and Investigation and Settlement of Traffic Accidents Room, Traffic Police Department, Ministry of Public Security./.
