Hanoi delegation presents gifts to Spratly archipelago

A working delegation from Hanoi led by Chairwoman of the city People’s Council Nguyen Thi Bich Ngoc visited and gave presents to people and soldiers on islands belonging to Spratly archipelago.

The delegation transferred VND37 billion to build a cultural construction, and VND1.7 billion from the city budget to buy essential facilities, including fridges, water filtering machines, laptops and meat grinding machines.

In particular, the delegation encouraged its members to collect nearly VND3 billion to present cadres and soldiers on the islands.
