Preparations for APEC Economic Leaders’ Week checked

The delegation from 20 APEC member economies (except Vietnam) on July 27th-28th paid a pre-advance visit came to Da Nang city to study the preparations for the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week which is scheduled this November.

On July 27
th, the delegation was informed of locations serving APEC delegations, vehicles, the working agenda of APEC member economies’ leaders and their spouses, and presents for guests.
In addition, the delegation was given an introduction about contractors, the international press centre and security work for the APEC Week, including the prevention of terrorism, aviation security and traffic safety; the protection of the Da Nang International Airport and airports to be used by APEC member economies’ leaders; firefighting prevention and rescue work; the ensuring of healthcare, food safety and environmental protection work./.
