Blue House spokesperson Park Soo hyun said the two leaders Donald Trump and Moon Jae-in will discuss US-RoK ties, and the general situation in North Asia. Trade ties between the two countries will also be high on the agenda.

Besides, Trump's trip to the RoK is also focused on pressuring the DPRK to abandon its nuclear weapons program.

The President says he'll also be meeting with President Moon Jae-in about trade. He says "hopefully that will start working out" to create a lot of jobs in the U.S.

RoK’s President Moon Jae-in says he hopes U.S. President Donald Trump's visit to the country will provide an opportunity to ease RoK’s "anxiety" over DPRK's expanding nuclear program.

Trump's first stop was Camp Humphreys, where he is scheduled to have lunch with troops from the United States and the RoK, and receive an operational briefing.

Officials have said the base visit is meant to underscore the countries' ties and RoK’s commitment to contributing to its own defence./.
