Photo exhibition on Vietnam in Netherlands

(CPV) - The Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands on July 10th organized a photo exhibition titled “Vietnam’s beauty - A modern look” at the Vietnam Arts Centre in The Hague (the Netherlands) on the occasion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc visit to the European country.

The event was attended by Counselor Pham Toan Thang; Ambassadors and representatives of diplomatic agencies in the Netherlands; international organizations and staff of the Vietnamese Embassy in the Netherlands.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Counselor Pham Toan Thang said political, economic, cultural and social relations between Vietnam and the Netherlands have been developing. Bilateral culture and art exchanges have been consolidated and expanded, helping the two peoples gain a better understanding about their traditional cultural identities.

The exhibition showcases 75 pictures of the nature, land and people of Vietnam, with the participation of artists from the Vietnam Fine Arts Association and the Vietnam University of Fine Art.

The event is expected to offer an opportunity for international friends in general and Dutch people in general to learn more about the beauty of the Vietnam landscape and hospitable people./.
