Cuba, US to discuss Human Rights

On October 11th, Deputy Director for Multilateral Affairs and International Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Pedro Luis Pedroso, announced that Cuba and the United States would hold the second round of talks on Human Rights.

The talks will take place in Havana on October 14th.

The first round of talks on this subject took place on March 31st, 2015, in Washington.

The Cuban delegation for the talks will be headed by Director for Multilateral Affairs and International Law of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Pedro Luis Pedroso.

Meanwhile, the US side will be led by Assistant Secretary of State for Democracy, Human Rights and Labour of the State Department, Tom Malinowski./.
