Hand embroidered pictures on display in Ha Long

On October 29^th, a show of pictures made from traditional Vietnamese hand embroidery opened in Ha Long city, as a part of activities to mark 20 years of being recognized as world natural heritage by UNESCO.

The show was held together with a special art performance for the occasion.

According to Vu Thi Thu Thuy, Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People’s Committee, the show created a specific cultural space to glorify traditional embroidery art in the province and bring the beauty of the world natural heritage site to local people and tourists thanks to hand embroidery pictures.

After the opening ceremony, the showroom will be available from 8 am to 8 pm every day./.
