Binh Phuoc provincial culture introduced at Vietnam Museum of Ethnology

The Vietnam Museum of Ethnology on February 24th-25th coordinated with the Southern Binh Phuoc provincial Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to organize the “Happy Year of the Dog: The culture of Binh Phuoc” program.

Visitors had the chance to experience ethnic cultural heritages such as gong performance, folk singing, traditional brocade weaving of the Xtieng ethnic group, and dance of the Khome ethnic group.

Traditional foods of Xtieng and Khome ethnic groups were also prepared at the event.

In additional, lovers of Binh Phuoc culture had also an opportunity to exchange and talk with researchers to study customs and festivals of several ethnic groups.

The program contributed to popularizing regional culture to the public and preserving cultural heritage and beauty at the beginning of the Spring, becoming a significant activity of the Museum at the beginning of the year./.
