The 2018 Japanese Cherry and Yen Tu Apricot Festival will take place at the Yen Tu relic site, Uong Bi city, Quang Ninh province from March 24th to 28th.

The festival has been held in Ha Long city over the past four years. This year, it will be held at the Yen Tu relic site - the land of founding Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen for the first time.
Accordingly, 5,000 cherry branches, 50 cherry trees and 120 Yen Tu yellow apricot trees will be displayed.
Under the theme “Cooperation and development - The destination of success”, this event is part of the National Tourism Year and 2018 Yen Tu Spring Festival, to promote cooperation between Quang Ninh province and Japanese localities, agencies and organizations.
Diverse activities such as a show on Vietnamese and Japanese traditional and modern customes, Vietnam-Japan artistic performances, exhibition on Japanese cherry and Yen Tu apricot, and activities introducing local agricultural products and Japanese traditional culture will be held during the event./.
