50 prominent Vietnamese lacquer paintings are on display at a virtual exhibition at http://trienlamtranhsonmai.trienlamao.net./., introducing the essence of Vietnamese art to the public at home and abroad.

The exhibition is being held by the Department of Cultural Diplomacy and UNESCO Affairs under Vietnam’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in coordination with the Vietnam National Fine Arts Museum as part of the Vietnam Days Abroad 2021.
Opened on December 8, the exhibition space was designed in 3D form in English and Vietnamese languages. The works on display were chosen by the museum, highlighting the beauty of Vietnamese country and its people.
A highlight of the exhibition is the work “Binh Phong” (Folding Screen) by Nguyen Gia Tri, which has been recognised as a national treasure./.
