Culture Tourism Week 2024 canceled in Hoang Su Phi

Hoang Su Phi District People's Committee announced it would not hold Culture Tourism Week 2024 "Through the heritage region of Hoang Su Phi terraced rice fields" and supporting activities, to focus on directing natural disaster prevention, search and rescue.

To focus on directing natural disaster prevention, search and rescue, on September 13, Hoang Su Phi District People's Committee announced it would stop organizing the Cultural Tourism Week 2024 and receive the National Intangible Cultural Heritage of the folk performing art of Pao Dung singing of the Dao ethnic group in Ha Giang province; and stop organizing supporting activities in response to the Cultural Tourism Week 2024.
Previously, the 2024 Cultural Tourism Week of Hoang Su Phi district was scheduled to take place from September 20 to 22, 2024, and the activities of the communes in response to the Cultural Tourism Week took place throughout September 2024. However, due to T yphoon Yagi, the weather in the district was complicated. According to information from the People's Committee of Hoang Su Phi district, prolonged heavy rain caused landslides, injuring one person and leaving one person missing. Currently, the district is directing the continued search work./.
