The Ho Chi Minh Museum has coordinated with Bat Trang Ceramic JSC and the Vietnam Fine Arts Association to organize an exhibition entitled “Soul of the Earth” to mark the 70th anniversary of Hanoi’s Liberation Day (October 10, 1954 - 2024) and the 65th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's visit to Bat Trang village (1959-2024).

More than 300 photos, documents, paintings, porcelain vases and ceramic works illustrating President Ho Chi Minh’s attachment towards the capital Hanoi are on display at an exhibition which opened at Bat Trang village, Hanoi.
The exhibition aims to spread love for Uncle Ho, for the capital Hanoi and the beloved Fatherland of Bat Trang artisans, while honoring the village’s traditional craft of pottery making.
Speaking at the opening ceremony on October 8, Dr Vu Manh Ha, Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum, reminded the participants of President Ho’s visit to Bat Trang 65 years ago.
On February 20, 1959, as the country made every effort to build socialism in the North and fight for national reunification, President Ho Chi Minh visited Bat Trang Village to encourage local families and production establishments.
Director of the Ho Chi Minh Museum requested that Bat Trang village strive to become one of the exemplary villages of the new Vietnam, the socialist Vietnam.
The works at the exhibition are produced by Bat Trang artisans, famous painters and sculptors who are members of the Vietnam Fine Arts Association.
Through the talented hands of craftsmen, painters, sculptors and artisans, rough clay blocks were breathed into life as unique works of art.
The exhibition space is divided into three sections. It will be open to the public until the end of October 2024./.
