Hanoi International Film Festival 2024 to take place in November

The seventh Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) will take place from November 7 to 11 to provide a chance for international and Vietnamese filmmakers to hold exchanges, honour excellent cinematographic works, and seek new talents working in the cinema industry.

The event also aims to promote an image of the nation as a safe, friendly, and hospitable country.
Diverse activities such as opening, closing, and award-giving ceremonies; a film project market; and seminars on cinema industry will be held during the event.
The event will also set up a special corner to focus on German movies.
There will also be outdoor movie screenings, exchanges held with actors and actresses, and sightseeing tours which pass through several attractive destinations around Hanoi for participants to enjoy. The schedule for ticket distribution and film screenings will be updated on the event website.
The exhibition will see introductions for film producers; domestic and international film distributors; foreign cultural centres in the nation; and the cinema industry of Japan, Germany, Russia, China, and the Republic of Korea. The event will get underway in front of Thong Nhat (Reunification) Park and in the Ly Thai To flower garden./.
