Int'l Film Festival to take place in Hanoi in November

The 7th Hanoi International Film Festival (HANIFF) will take place in the capital city from November 7- 11 to build a new film festival brand and affirm the position of Vietnamese cinema in international cinematography and attract the attention of world filmmakers to Vietnamese cinema.

The festival will allow Vietnamese and global film makers to exchange ideas and form cooperation; introduce their best creative works and honour the best of the talents in the industry.
The event also contributes to popularising the image of Vietnam as a safe, friendly, hospitable, integrated and developed country.
HANIFF was first held in 2010 as one of many activities celebrating the 1,000th anniversary of Hanoi capital and since then it has been held biennially,
On this occasion, diverse activities such as meeting movie stars and exhibitions will be held to introduce the cinema industries of Japan, Germany, Russia, China and the Republic of Korea./.
