Over 200 children participate in cultural festival of ethnic children in the Central region

More than 200 children from Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue province have participated in the cultural festival of ethnic children in the Central region took place in Hue City on August 24 and 25.

The event was held by the Central Council of Ho Chi Minh Young Pioneers’ Organisation and the Vietnam Women's Union to promote education on traditional values of the homeland and the country, and praise children with outstanding academic results.
The children joined together for art performances and cultural exchange programmes, depicting the love for the motherland and honouring beloved President Ho Chi Minh.

They also learned about the cultural values of regions and ethnic minority communities, played folk games, experienced local dishes, and admired an exhibition of children’s paintings.
A forum was also held to listen to the opinions and aspirations of children on various issues related to family, school, learning, entertainment and others./.
