Promoting relic value of Doctor A.Yersin's grave site

(CPV) - The Department of Culture and Information of Khanh Hoa province is coordinating with relevant units to implement a plan to repair and embellish the relic of Doctor A.Yersin's grave site in Suoi Cat commune, Cam Lam district, Khanh Hoa province, developing the value of this monument into a tourist destination.

The Department of Culture and Sports (VHTT) of Khanh Hoa province has just chaired and coordinated with the People's Committee of Cam Lam district, the Association of Dr. A.Yersin's admirers and related units to meet to agree on a plan to promote the value of Doctor A.Yersin's grave site.
The Association's representative also proposed to repair and embellish the landscape of the monument, and design a waiting area for visitors to stop and rest when coming here to visit the tomb; Plant more trees, the same types of trees that Dr. Yersin once planted; parking lot construction; Arrange QR codes at the monument so that people and tourists can easily access information, learn and feel about the doctor more fully.
The grave of acclaimed Swiss-French Dr Alexandre Yersin (1863-1943) has become a spiritual tourist landmark in the central province of Khánh Hòa for those wishing to pay their respects to his extraordinary contributions to medicine and the people of Vietnam./.
