Vietnam Ao Dai Week will take place nationwide from March to 8 to encourage women to wear an Ao Dai between March 1 and March 8 to show the charm and elegant beauty of the dress.

Accordingly, thousands of women across the nation will dress up in Ao Dai in response to the week to celebrate the 114th anniversary of International Women’s Day (March 8).
Several cultural activities related to Ao Dai will be held, such as a photo contest and a pageant and a programme with the theme of "Ao Dai zero dong" with the goal of bringing joy to many poor and disadvantaged women who now have a chance to own the traditional dress.
The highlight of the week will be a fashion show, drawing the participation of wives of foreign ambassadors from nations such as Morocco, the Czech Republic, and Indonesia.
The event will feature Ao Dai collections which draw inspiration from famous heritage sites, Vietnamese landscapes, national flags, and diplomatic relations between Vietnam and foreign countries./.
