The Vietnam – RoK Cultural Day took place in the southern city of Can Tho on October 5-6 to commemorate 30 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and strengthen cooperation between Can Tho and its RoK partners.

The event was held by the administration of Can Tho city in collaboration with the Embassy of the Republic of Korea in Vietnam and the RoK Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City.
This is an opportunity for local people and Korean expatriates in the Mekong Delta to explore the distinctive cultural identities of both countries together.
Diverse activities showcasing the culture, tourism, cuisine, education, and trade of both countries have been held.
The event provides local people with unique cultural experiences and contributes to enhancing cooperation between Vietnam and the RoK.
On this occasion, both sides exchange views and express their desire to promote bilateral cooperation in various fields, including people-to-people diplomacy, cultural exchange, high-tech agriculture, education, and health care./.
